I agree with Tom Robbins that life is complex opposed to Thoreau's view that life is simple. The only way that life could be simple for anyone, is if he / she lived all alone with everything needed for life already provided. Even the company of another person would complicate things and make everything a little more complex. Another example of a simple life may be one of a dog or a cat. The only thing they have to do all day is go to the bathroom. But then again, even animals get sick, which in turn makes life for them complex.


No matter what, life has to be full of challenges that make it harder. For example, the other day I was driving home from school, when a police officer pulled me over for speeding and gave me a ticket.
